Freedom of Information request of 23 October requesting information concerning an incident referred to in the Oxburgh report. Response to complaint to Ombudsman about level of information previously provided.

Seven nuclear weapons containers containing nuclear depth charges recieved external damage during the Falklands war. There was no question of nuclear weapons being used in the war. No weapon was damaged, handling procedures were modified and surface ships now no longer carry nuclear weapons.
